Principle-based Venture Capital (Jerry Maguire style)

Too often the venture business is reduced to primarily a money business. There are interesting parallels between Jerry Maguire’s epiphany moment and resulting mission statement and the heart of the venture business. Do we need to instill principles and mission back into the venture business?
